The Kwa Zulu Natal South coast offers some of the most varied and exciting diving africa has to offer the two main dive sites are Aliwal Shoal & Protea Banks are both reached via boats launch from the small town of Umkomaas 

There is a little bit of everything for divers from the fossilised sand dunes of Aliwal Shoal to the two wrecks the Produce and Nebo but the star attraction has to be the large group of Raggies who congregate here to mate over the months between June & November this location has it all and often recieves accolades for international dive magazines 

This would also be the only place where you could have the the biggest adrinalre rush of them a baited Tiger Shark dive yip just you the blue water and a 6meter Tiger!!!!! Strips and all.
